The disc separator is meant for the removal of non-metal impurities off of a powdered materia! (e.g. coal dust) conveyed by the conveyor-belt conveyer, such as wood, concrete, rocks, and alike.
The separator has a form of a closed casing, containing movable elements of the work grate capturing and transporting impurities outside the casing. The construction of the grate allows for tilting of it by means of either the manual or electric lifting mechanism.
The separator is encased under the conveyor discharge drums, while the capturing and conveyance of impurities to the bunker a occurs in a continuous fashion.
